UPK Lottery Results

The UPK lottery results are now available. Families whose children have been offered a spot will be contacted directly during the weeks of January 12 and January 19.

If you would like to gain a sense of your child’s placement on the list, please review the results ​linked here​ and reference the application number that was emailed to you after your application was received.

Hello, families.

The Katonah-Lewisboro School District anticipates offering a full-day, tuition-free Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program for a group of eligible four-year-old children for the 2026–27 school year.

This program is funded through a New York State Department of Education Pre-K Expansion grant and is contingent upon continued grant and budget funding, which is typically finalized once the state budget is approved, usually by April 1.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Children must be four years old on or before December 1, 2026.

  • Children must be residents of the Katonah-Lewisboro School District.

Admission

Admission to the UPK program is determined through a lottery. While we hope to serve as many children as possible, not every applicant may receive a spot. Families who wish to participate must complete the application process to be included in the lottery.
